21.12.2015 My stamp

I have been scratching my initials YJE on the bottom of all pottery I make since the very beginning of my potting days. Like handwriting it comes out in almost exact same way, so for long time I did not bother to make or get a stamp. Since I run pottery classes in my studio, it is becoming apparent that I need to save time and make things more consistent and professional than ever. So, lately I have been entertaining the idea of making a few different stamps, for example, one with my initials, one with my company name, one for items that are not food safe, etc. While I have been thinking about it, Universe, Santa and my lovely love got together and custom ordered me two gorgeous stamps. They both have elaborate silver handles, one has my intiials in a font that is exactly like my handwriting on my pots, and the other one has the logo of my company, Silky Shapes Studio. I can't wait to see them fired and glazed over, but for now, this is what I have.
