20.08.2016 Flicks of goldI started making this piece as a wheelthrown vase. After trimming the bottom, I altered it by cutting out identical sections on each side, which divided the single neck of this vase into two necks. Then I pressed the whoel piece into an oval shape and connected the cuts with a new piece of slab to form two necks instead of one. After glaze firing with only clear gloss, I added the flicks of gold and refired the piece for the third time. Et voila!
